Research

The staff at the Lyon County Historical Archives is available to assist patrons with research. When requesting research by mail or email, please include the full name of the person you are researching, a time period, and what you require; birth, death, marriage, location of residence, obit, etc. The more information you provide the sooner we are able to return an answer to you. We request donations of $10 per hour for research and $.50 per copy. Donations are tax deductible as we are a not for profit organization.  It is only through the generousity of our patrons that we are able to provide research assistance.
