Church Goals

   - as adopted by the church Cabinet in February 2010

  1. 1. To increase median worship attendance to 60 in the 8:30 a.m. service and 120 in the 11:00 a.m. service by 2010-11.
  2. To increase adult education attendance/participation to equal 30% of Sunday worship attendance by 2011-12.
  3. To increase the number of children in Sunday School and Worship by 50%, by the end of 2011.
  4. To have a van ministry in place that brings at least 15 people to worship services and Sunday events, by the end of 2011.
  5. To successfully do one learning & growth campaigns each year, having at least 8 small groups each time – starting in 2010-11.
  6. To have a student ministry in place, with at least 15 college students attending a weekly ministry, by the end of 2011.
  7. To begin a Christian pre-school, with at least 10 children in enrollment, and a certified director in leadership, by 2013.
  8. To hire and have a part-time Associate Pastor on staff by the Fall of 2014, to focus on visitation of seniors and shut-ins.
  9. To increase church missions commitment to $20,000/year, or to 10% of the budget by 2010-11, with at least $750/month being given to the Happy Life Children's Home.
  10. To establish an organized acolyte program with a training procedure, involving at least 8 children, by the end of 2011.
  11. To have a missions fair, starting in 2010, yielding 10 new commitments to missions from within the congregation by 2011.
  12. To have at least one-third of all committees and program leaders consist of members who have joined in the previous five years, by 2013.
